About
Drawing inspiration from the best looks in her grandmothers closet, Morgan Ballot-Godsey started Strawberry Festival in 2021 after years of making her own clothes. Together with her partner Jenn Moreira, Morgan would modernize the pieces she came across from her grandmothers closet, which often included items by Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Bob Mackie. Strawberry Festival shares a personal story through hand-picked sparkle brocade fabric, a rarity often reservered for 80’s prom dresses and couture. The brands pastel colors, micro-mini flared silhouettes, and signature usage of multicolored bows and playful cutouts bring a child-like whimsy and playfulness to the world of womenswear.
Every item is produced by hand and respectfully crafted in New York City, using fair wage policies and working directly with expert seamstresses and pattern makers in the garment district.
